Donavon loads his weight on the leg that is opposite of the direction he needs to go to ensure that he is able to generate enough power when the ball is snapped.
It is key to avoid allowing your hands to go backwards from the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped. Moving your hand backwards allows the Defender to make contact first which is key to winning a block.
