In this video, Storm addresses what Offensive Lineman should do in stage 2 of their stance including hand placement and the three-point stance. Key points of emphasis include:
  • Elbows should be locked in tight to the body to maximize power in your punch. If your elbows are outside of the body, you are likely to have a weak punch.
  • During a three-point stance, whichever leg is staggered, that arm should also be in the ground (i.e. if your left leg is back, your left arm should be in the ground).
  • It is essential to not have too much of your weight forward during a three-point stance to avoid getting caught leaning.
  • Whichever hand is not in the ground during a three-point stance should be ready to strike when the ball is snapped.
